Dockbot High Precision Robotic End Effector

Imagine an automation workcell that has many localized work regions of 1 micron accuracy in which commercially available micro-postioners can do their job. And there is a method to move these micro-positioners from various pickup sites to their desired task sites. But this workcell does not need the 1 micron accuracy over a large range of motion, which would have prohibitively high costs.
